Onshore Wind Conference 2026, co-organised by Scottish Renewables and RenewableUK, will return to Edinburgh on 1–2 September, bringing together industry, government, investors, developers and the supply chain to discuss delivery today and long-term planning for tomorrow. The programme will explore the practical realities of building onshore wind projects, strategic planning, grid reform, routes to market, repowering and the value onshore wind can deliver across the UK.
With 2030 fast approaching, the onshore wind sector has a bold ambition to deliver a robust onshore wind pipeline by the end of the decade. But planning for the sector beyond 2030 is vital.
The Clean Power Action Plan sets out a near-term target, while the Strategic Spatial Energy Plan (SSEP) will determine the future of the sector through to 2050. Together, these policy frameworks signal a shift from focusing on individual projects to system-wide outcomes – with implications for planning, investment, supply chains, communities and long-term asset management.
What We’re Showcasing
TouchstoneEnergy, an Infor Gold Partner with over 40 years of implementation experience, will exhibit at the Onshore Wind Conference and Floating Offshore Wind, co-organised by Scottish Renewables and RenewableUK. Across both conferences, we’ll demonstrate Infor SunSystems Cloud — a financial management solution built for the complexity of global energy organisations, helping onshore and offshore operators improve control, visibility and scalability as the sector scales up.
As renewable energy organisations grow, the pressure on finance teams, operational leaders and project stakeholders increases. Complex projects, multiple entities, evolving reporting requirements and investor expectations all demand systems that provide reliable data, streamlined processes and confident decision-making.
We’ll also be showcasing how complementary solutions, including Octave, Proactis, Yooz, and TimeXtender, can extend and enhance your finance ecosystem. From asset management, procurement and AP automation to data management, these solutions integrate seamlessly to create a more connected, efficient, and insight-driven finance function.
