TouchstoneEnergy delivers full End-to End Infor Finance and Enterprise Asset Management system for new Midstream Oil & Gas client in Dallas.
Once again, TouchstoneEnergy demonstrates their commitment to the Energy sector. With tough competition biting at their heels, TouchstoneEnergy was awarded a contract worth US$750,000 for the supply and implementation of Infor’s CloudSuite Energy ERP solution for a new Oil & Gas Midstream client headquartered in Dallas, USA.
Upgrading from QuickBooks, which was well overdue, our client required a solution that better managed their operating costs through well-designed procurement processes and financial controls. With new investors coming into the business, they also needed a fully integrated operational system that enabled them to provide greater transparency, better analytical performance and monitoring, automation of many field based processes and enhanced financial reporting with KPI dashboards.
Better tracking and recording of spend against budget was a key success factor for this project in addition to incorporating inventory management, planned, reactive and predictive maintenance for their value chain and asset base, and a solution that would scale based on a world-class solution.
TouchstoneEnergy is proud to announce the system has gone live, hosted in the AWS CLOUD with a full deployment of Infor’s CloudSuite Energy.
The solution comprises Infor EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), Infor SunSystems – the analytical Accounting & Finance Ledger & Reporting System, Infor’s OS Technology suite with its ION Workflow, Document Management and Business Process Management functionalities and its user Collaboration tools, Ming’le and HomePages.
TouchstoneEnergy and the Infor platform were chosen, ahead of the competition because of their industry expertise, their global implementation and support capabilities and specifically their ‘mid-stream oil and gas’ dominance.
The Infor solution allows any Upstream, Midstream, Oilfield Services or Renewable Energy organisation to track and monitor the performance of physical assets, execute and automate planned, reactive or predictive maintenance schedules, this fully transforming the way users manage and maintain their asset investment.
Using the Infor CloudSuite Energy platform, phase 2 of the project will feature the use of Infor’s EAM mobility applications for field engineers and execution of Work Orders and Tickets, HSE and Certifications. This will enable field service staff to remain connected with their operational office all the while they are on field locations throughout the assigned process. Infor EAM Mobile supports most mobile devices and therefore maintains synchronised access and control for possible follow-on maintenance instructions that can be initiated by the mobile engineer using these applications.
