Software and services company, Touchstone Group, has signed a deal with Cenium to provide the hotel and leisure industry with the first end-to-end Microsoft-based, hotel management IT system available in the UK. The partnership will see Touchstone Group provide the sector with the Cenium Hotel Management System, a single solution based on Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV, which helps hospitality and leisure companies of all sizes, maximise revenue by uniting all of their operational data in a user-friendly system.
Cenium Hotel Management System signals the end of disparate front and back office IT systems which have long hindered the industry’s productivity and profitability. It centralises all data in real time, allowing users to work effectively from just one platform on essential functions including: accounting; financial planning; room rate and occupancy optimisation; CRM; procurement; stock control; front desk; housekeeping; restaurants; bars; conferences; and retail kiosks. The solution also provides interfaces to all key devices, including: telephone systems; key cards; TV; mini bar; and heating systems.
The solution is based on the award-winning Microsoft Dynamics NAV technology and the Microsoft SQL Server® platform, providing users with a familiar and easy-to-use interface. Cenium Hotel Management System consists of a number of interchangeable modules that can be customised to meet the needs and requirements of large hotel chains or it can be used equally effectively as a complete, single system for independent hotels. The modules include: Property Management; Management Overview; Central Reservations; Internet Reservations; Conference and Banqueting; Revenue Management; Restaurants; Resort Management (including spa, golf and rentals); Staff Management; and EPOS.
Cenium UK chose to partner with Touchstone Group because of the organisation’s vast experience and expertise working in the hospitality and leisure market, and its comprehensive understanding of the IT issues faced by the industry.
